  • 2 medium apples (peeled, cored, diced)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by melting butter in a saucepan and cooking diced apples with sugar and cinnamon until soft. Mix cornstarch with water, add to apples, and cook until thickened. Let cool.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Flatten each biscuit dough piece, place a tablespoon of filling in the center, fold over and seal tightly.
  4. Dip each sealed bomb in melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
  5. Place on the baking sheet seam-side down and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow cooling slightly before serving warm.
