Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl mixture; set aside.
  3. Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy, then beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour and baking powder together, then gradually add to wet mixture alternating with milk.
  5. Fold in chopped apples gently.
  6. Layer half of the batter in the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture, add remaining batter, and top with leftover swirl mix.
