Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate (melted)
  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate (chopped)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (chilled)
  • 1 cup white cooking chocolate (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom and up the sides of your tart pan evenly. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the heavy cream until just simmering. Pour it over chopped dark and milk chocolates in a separate bowl; let sit for 2-3 minutes to melt. Stir until smooth. Add chilled butter and mix until fully blended.
  3. Pour the filling into the prepared crust, smoothing out with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes until set.
  4. Heat white cooking chocolate with heavy cream until melted. Using a piping bag or zip-top bag with a corner snipped off, pipe concentric circles on top of your set tart. Use a toothpick or skewer to drag lines through the circles to create a spiderweb effect.
  5. Top your tart with chocolate-covered almonds as edible spiders before serving.
