  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. For the cookie layer, cream together room temperature butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in flour and baking powder followed by chocolate chips.
